We are the Meduna family and we are Meduna Family Farms. Family runs deep for us just like it does in every good cow herd and just like the roots of every good corn plant. Our great, great, grandpa Bill founded what we now call Meduna Family Farms LLC which is situated in the flat countryside of Saunders County. We love this way of life and consider ourselves extremely blessed to get to take part in the farming and ranching lifestyle, and every year get to be a part of the amazing cycle of life and death, of hard work and pay off.
We are blessed with many hands that want to work and have thus been able to cover many different projects as a farm. We raise nearly 720 acres of our own grain crops of corn and soybeans as well as additional work in custom planting, spraying, and harvesting for others. We run a herd of 650 cows, mostly black Angus/Simmental, and mostly specialize in custom calving and cornstalk pasturing every year. One of our biggest enterprises is our forage harvesting and selling. We harvest quality brome hay, prairie mix, and alfalfa, as well as custom cornstalk baling. On the home place, the youngest members also foster a small meat goat herd and sell to customers that come to us off the highway.
We are joyed to live this life we love. We welcome you to explore our site and find out more about each of our ventures. We are a young farm family with a passion to grow. We want to learn what you want and to serve you as best we can!
God bless you all!
